The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Recruitment 2025 for 1732 posts of Group A, B & C. Candidates with Any Graduate Can Apply Online. The online application opens on 06-10-2025, and closes on 05-11-2025. The candidate shall apply online through DDA website, dda.gov.in.

Application Fee

• For UR, OBC(NCL), EWS Candidates: Rs. 2500/- (Non Refundable)
• For For PwBD/ Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC and ST: Rs. 1500/- (Refundable)
• The fee shall be refunded to only those candidate(s) who appeared in Examination, after deducting applicable bank charges, only in the account details given by candidates in online application form

• Architectural Assistant : Degree in Architecture.
• Legal Assistant : Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB), 03 Years Exp.
• Planning Assistant : Bachelor Degree in Planning / Architecture.
• Programmer : MCA / B.Tech Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electronics Engineering, 01 Year Experience.
• Surveyor : Diploma / ITI in Surveying, 02 Years Experience.
• Naib Tehsildar : Any Graduation Degree (50% Marks).
• Junior Engineer : Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Deputy Director : PG Degree in Related Field, Relevant Experience.
• Assistant Director : Degree in Related Field, Relevant Experience.
• Patwari : Any Graduation Degree.
• Junior Secretariat Assistant : 12th Passed, Typing (English : 35 wpm/ Hindi : 30 wpm).
• Assistant Security Officer : Any Graduation Degree.
• Sectional Officer (Horticulture) : Degree in Horticulture / Agri. / Forestry.
• Junior Translator (Official Language) : PG Degree in Hindi / English, Diploma in Translation or 02 Years Experience.
• Assistant Executive Engineer : Degree in Civil / Electrical Engineering.
• Stenographer Grade ‘D’ : 12th Class Passed, Stenography [Dictation (English / Hindi) : 10 Minutes : 80 WPM, Transcription (English : 50 Minutes | Hindi : 65 Minutes)], Typing (English : 40 wpm / Hindi : 35 wpm).
• Mali : 10th Class Passed.
• Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) : 10th Class Passed.

The DDA Selection Process Explained

The selection process for DDA recruitment varies depending on the post. It is designed to test the knowledge and skills of the candidates thoroughly.

Tier 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

For most posts, the first stage is a Computer Based Test. The exam pattern differs for various positions:

• For posts like Junior Engineer and Planning Assistant: The CBT will consist of 150 questions covering the respective discipline, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language, and Computer Knowledge.
• For Junior Secretariat Assistant: The CBT includes sections on Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning & General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, and a qualifying Computer Knowledge Test.
• For Patwari: The exam has sections on General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, English, Hindi or Urdu, Knowledge of Relevant Acts, and a qualifying Computer Knowledge section.

There is a negative marking of 1/3rd of the marks for each wrong answer.

Tier 2: Skill Test / Further Stages

• For Stenographer Grade- D: Candidates who clear the CBT will undergo a Skill Test (Stenography) and a mandatory qualifying Typing Test.
• For Junior Secretariat Assistant: Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Typing Test, which is qualifying in nature.
• For Group A posts (like Assistant Director): Candidates shortlisted from the CBT will be called for an Interview, which is qualifying in nature.
